Teaching Knowledge Test (TKT)

Teaching Knowledge Test (TKT) is an assessment conducted by Cambridge in order to examine the existing knowledge of an instructor who desires to be a globally recognized English instructor. The course contains three core modules such as: (1) Background to language learning and teaching (2) Lesson planning and use of resources for language teaching (3) Managing the teaching and learning process.

TKT is categorized into two categories i.e. CLIL which is for those who wish to teach to adults, whereas, YL is a type in which instructors teach to young learners. The exam is conducted through both modes as computer and paper-based.
